Ice hockey match off
Tonight's ice hockey clash between Edinburgh Capitals and Nottingham Panthers at Murrayfield Ice Rink has been postponed due to the adverse weather conditions down south.
Hearts season ticket holders and fans attending today's William Hill Scottish Cup fifth round tie against St Johnstone were entitled to a 50 per cent discount for the big game.
Capitals owner Scott Neil said the reduced admission will apply to a future match, and for those Jambos who have already bought tickets for this evening, refunds will be available.
"It's really unfortunate," said Scott. "But Nottingham town centre has apparently been hit very hard by the snow and their team bus can't get in to pick them up.
"We'll be having an in-house exhibition match instead and people are welcome to come along to that if they like."
On HeartsTV today, live commentary of this afternoon's big game at Tynecastle from 2pm with Phil Turnbull, Jimmy Sandison and Alan White.
