The scheduled bounce game between a First Team XI and the Under 19's has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.

The friendly clash was due to take place this morning in Musselburgh but has been shelved after safety concerns about the pitch, thanks to sub zero temperatures throughout the night.

Though the game was arranged to help keep fitness up during this free weekend, thanks to Celtic's involvement in the Scottish Communities League Cup Semi-Final, it was decided not to risk any potential injury to the players.

The Jambos are back in action on Sunday 5th February, taking on St. Johnstone at Tynecastle in the 5th round of the William Hill Scottish Cup.
