Lacking determination
Manager Paulo Sergio today described his team's 1-0 defeat to Inverness as "most disappointing".
In difficult playing conditions, the Jambos failed to trouble the highlanders' goal, as Shane Sutherland's 48th minute header sealed all three points for the home side.
Speaking in front of the press, Paulo said: "The result and the performance were both disappointing.
"I think we should be doing more. I think there may be a mentality thing, with coming to play in a hard place like Inverness and with the weather and the state of the pitch, I don't want excuses like this. It was the same conditions for both teams.
"I found that Inverness were more determined than us. We played for 20 minutes, they played for the rest of the game. I didn't come here to draw, I came here to win, but we didn't do enough to win the game."
Late on in the game David Templeton had a penalty claim turned down, a decision that Paulo did not agree with.
He said: "For me it was a penalty. The referee was closer but I'm going to watch it again on tv. From where I was standing it was a penalty but the referee was closer to it and he's made his decision."
With no game next weekend, Paulo's players have a free weekend before taking on St. Johnstone in the 5th round of the William Hill Scottish Cup on Sunday 5th February at Tynecastle.
