Hearts have today confirmed that Rudi Skacel will not be moving to Crawley Town.

The club also believe it is highly unlikely that it will enter into any loan deal with another club for the Jambos' top scorer last season.

Rudi is also currently this season's top scorer with six goals having scored most recently in the 3-1 victory at Easter Road against city rivals Hibs.

A club spokesperson said: "Rudi is a very gifted player and excellent goal scorer. It is natural that there will be significant interest in him from other clubs. However we have no intention of loaning one of our prize assets to another club and we are currently speaking with Rudi about his future at Hearts. We expect talks to take place over the forthcoming weeks and be concluded by the end of this month. But whatever happens the player will not leave Hearts for free before the natural termination date of his contract."
