Match Preview: Hearts v St. Johnstone
Hearts take on St. Johnstone today having won only three of the last 12 meetings between the two sides in Gorgie.
A solitary Rudi Skacel strike was enough back in January. The Saintees had won at Tynecastle earlier in the month to knock the Jambos out of the Scottish Cup at the first hurdle.
September's clash in Perth saw the home side run out comfortable winners. Two Cillian Sheridan goals were enough to defeat the Maroons, who were well below their best.
The Irish striker will miss this weekend's game through injury, while Hearts have Ian Black available again after he completed a three match suspension.
Neither manager will be in the dugout for today's match. Paulo Sergio is serving the third of a five match ban, whilst Steve Lomas will be in the stand after being handed a one match suspension for infractions during his first match in charge at Ibrox.
Francisco Sandaza is St. Johnstone's top scorer in the league with six goals, whilst last week's strike against Inverness means Rudi Skacel is top of the pile for the Jambos with three league goals.
In 115 league meetings between the two teams, Hearts can boast 54 wins, with St. Johnstone triumphing 28 times, and 33 draws.
