Gary Speed began his career with Leeds United, before going on to play for Everton, Newcastle United, Bolton Wanderers and Sheffield United.

He also represented his country with pride on 85 occasions, and is their most capped outfield player.

Gary was appointed as manager of Wales in February 2011, who are due to face Scotland in the 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign.

He will be missed by football supporters throughout the UK.
