SPL launches Family Champions Weekend
The Scottish Premier League today formally announced its inaugural SPL Family Champions weekend on 18th and 19th September.
Hearts head to Inverness on Clydesdale Bank Premier League business on the Saturday (18th September, 3pm, live on Hearts.TV International), with the club having already agreed with Inverness and announced 250 tickets for U18s priced at £1 when bought accompanied by an adult.
The Tynecastle side will also take any un-stripped players to the away stand to meet supporters before the game, whilst the club's mascots Teenie and Tynie Tiger will also be on hand.
SPL chief executive Neil Doncaster said: "The SPL is committed to supporting our clubs' efforts to increase attendances and improve the matchday experience for all fans and the SPL Family Weekend is another step in the right direction.
"Driving more families into our grounds can only be a positive move, improving the financial health of our clubs and generating a lively and exciting atmosphere at games."
