Trialists arrive for pre-season
Hearts head back to pre-season training tomorrow and they will be joined by a couple of trialists - one of whom is well known to supporters.
Polish midfielder Adrian Mrowiec will be back at Riccarton to train with the first team squad under the watchful eye of Jim Jefferies.
And he'll be joined by Lithuanian U21 international attacker Rytis Leliuga from Danish side HB Koge, who played in the Super League.
The 23-year-old has also played for Norwegian side Bryne whilst he started his career as a youth team player at Exeter City.
Adrian spent last season with Arka Gdynia in the Polish Premier League having spent the previous season at Tynecastle.
Although his opportunities were relatively few and far between during the early part of the season, he finished the campaign strongly as first choice in centre-midfield following some excellent performances.
Manager Jim Jefferies said: "Adrian is well known to the club having been here before. He had some injury problems but has gone away and played regularly in Poland so I'll have a look at him.
"The other lad has been recommended to us so we'll see about him. He's joining a team going to the tournament in Oban this weekend which will be a mixture of young players and reserve lads. If the reports are good we might have a look at him in Italy for a couple of days."
Meanwhile, Marian Kello is back in Edinburgh this week and the club hope that he will finalise a deal for the season ahead.
