Jambos at the double!
Hearts may have returned from a hectic pre-season tour to Germany but there has been no respite this week with double training sessions the order of the day.
The squad arrived back in Edinburgh late on Sunday evening following their fourth game in the space of six days against Alemannia Aachen in Baesweiler.
They were given Monday off but were back on the training ground at Riccarton yesterday morning with boss Csaba Laszlo having scheduled double sessions for the remainder of the week.
The players' training programme will see them working closely with Csaba and assistant Werner Burger for two sessions a day until Sunday, when they will attend the Heart of Midlothian Family Race Day at Musselburgh.
"Germany was important and this week is also important as we build towards next month," Csaba told Hearts News this morning.
"We will be working on a lot of things on the training ground. We played four games on the tour and it was very interesting, definitely.
"But we must keep working hard together. This is an important time in our preparations and our focus is on being as well prepared as we can be for the game against Dundee United on August 15."
